Heng Cheng has informed me that Thailand didn’t have a major update last Tuesday, but they will have an upcoming pang event that triples instead of doubles the pang earned. I’m not sure of the current state of the pang economy in that server, but this could either be a good thing or a bad one depending on how long it lasts. Considering the way the money situation could turn in such a game, we can only hope that they will remain in good-standing. Read the rest of this entry »

The European servers are beginning their Easter celebration, bringing the odd Pink Octopus Hats… Ugh, those things always looked weird to me. Anyway, they give plus one spin and plus one slot. I believe you all remember that they look like so I’m not going to post a picture. They’re also going to offer chocolates, but the big surprise is the Papel Rare. Europe is getting the precious Demonic and Rainbow Feathers, which is a slight surprise considering the US servers recently received that item before their hiatus. The Feathers themselves are a lower-grade version of the Elf Ears (the eCard Scratch Rare). They widen the Pangya zone at 7m to 9m winds.

NtreevUSA updated their Pangya site the other day and stated the following news, “Ntreev USA is happy to announce that our seasoned Pangya players will soon have the opportunity to use their old accounts and IGNS (In-Game-Names)!” They go farther into this subject by stating explicitly that they are working on the account transfer. It also appears in their announcement that they are attempting to transfer guilds as well. NtreevUSA definitely has come to the conclusion that the accounts in themselves will keep them business. So the transfer between HanbitSoft to Ntreev has come and gone in Korea; however, the servers are still a blazing mess. While I went through the transfer successfully, I am completely unable to log into my account at all. I’m actually remotely confident that I have lost my Korean account, which is something I have no way to fix. As such updates on that server have come up very little lately. I apologize for this and hope you will all understand. I’m doing everything in my power at the moment to continue giving you guys updates. It’s difficult though considering the US servers are sitting in limbo, Japan IP blocked us awhile ago, and Korea… I don’t even know. Read the rest of this entry »

I’m sure some of you have noticed this blog has been terribly quiet as of late. Believe me, like every one of you, I’m waiting patiently for the US arrival of our new Pangya. Korea has been a bit boring lately, and Japanese newsletters are pretty difficult to decipher since I tend to stray away from translators that flat out don’t work. On the plus side, NtreevUSA has just posted a notice announcing the launch of the Pangya website on March 12th. They’ve also stated to expect the new US Pangya by the end of March. It’s kind of weird for me to make a post like this since I never expected Tiki’s SpellBook to last so long. In fact I never thought I’d love Pangya for this huge length of time to be able to report on it everyday. I guess I’m a bit surprised, but I’m really thankful too. On February 27th, 2008 I first published my Season 4 Introduction videos on YouTube when it was new for those in Korea. That was also my very first post on Tiki’s SpellBook as well. I just want to thank everyone for the continuous support, awesome comments, and faithful patience. I know there are other blogs out there, but the fact you visit mine makes me feel really special. I hope that Tiki’s SpellBook can continue to share with you the best news ever concerning our favorite game. Read the rest of this entry »
