I have been meaning to post this for the past week, but I’ve suffered computer troubles with my internet provider. Due to this it has been difficult to do so, and update the site as I normally should. Though you will see more updates soon, and I apologize for the slow two weeks. On the plus side, the news I do have is rather hefty about the goodies the US customers might receive when they pick up Pangya PSP. Read the rest of this entry »

I spotted the above picture on the Japanese homepage a few moments ago. Since I can’t make heads or tails of Japanese writing, I’m aware that there is an event going on here. It appears, though I could be wrong, you’re collecting Gold and Silver medals for prizes. Though the picture listed above makes me believe that they’ll release Cecilia’s motion item next. I recall Korea releasing the item 10/14/08, and usually Japan is always right behind them… hrmmm. Either way the image is a cut out mimic of the original posted on the Korea notice boards in game.

Japanese Update |

This is rather interesting news considering all the transitions that have happened in the Pangya world as of late. As all of you know, Korean Pangya was originally published by Hanbitsoft and then recently taken over by Ntreev completely. Hanbitsoft was also involved in the European Pangya as well; however, it was recently announced that now European Pangya will go straight through Ntreev… thus, cutting their ties with Hanbitsoft. I heard awhile back that Hanbitsoft was struggling somewhat, but considering the monster good job they do with Japanese Pangya, it’s a little difficult to see that. Read the rest of this entry »

I saw this notice in the Japanese newsletter for Pangya, but I solely assumed it was only for the posters for your PAD Room. However, it appears that the outfits in said posters are actually a group of rares that can be won. When you receive an outfit, you get the corresponding posters which you can set up in your room. The outfits themselves are rather pretty, and they seem specifically aimed at the sex appeal each character can give. Images of the set after the jump! Read the rest of this entry »

Europe Update, Japanese Update |

A lot of updates happening between the 14th and the 16th for the Europe, Thailand, and US servers. We’ll start with Europe since their update was on the 14th where they implemented a new system entitled PangBay. It’s a mock off of eBay and can be found here. It’s a trading system where one can not only track all their items, but let it gather bids instead of the opposite of setting a set price in the PSquare. It’s actually quite a neat system since it also alerts you if you’re outbid on an item you perviously bid on. It very seriously is a rip-off of eBay, but it is quite ingenious to see this applied to an online golf game. Maybe NtreevUSA will see this nifty new contraption and also rip it off. Europe Update, Thailand Update, US Update |

At 9:00 PM PST Ntreev has opened their account migration, and if you wish to get your stuff back I suggest you do it right now. With the account transfer you will be able to keep the following objects: level, characters, caddies, mascots, items, and gift boxes. However, you will not be able to keep pang, records, trophies, guild affiliation, et cetera. If you’ve already transferred then you received one of the above messages. If you were like me and tried ten minutes ago, your stomach probably sank when you received the error; regardless, after trying again I was able to get my account successfully. It seems Ntreev suffered a hiccup at first or an overload. Everything should be fine now. Read the rest of this entry »
