A new update has finally come from the US server, but in all honesty it leaves me baffled in many ways. In many ways the update itself seems like a huge plus considering they finally added Tiki Scrolls, which allow people to leave tournaments early if they finish before the time limit. In turn, the ability to join a tournament that has already started has also been added since the two features compliment each other. However I think the biggest kick to the shins is the Pangya PSP outfits. Instead of being a monstrous occasion it feels like an insult!
For awhile now there have been set problems with the new server that has been widely talked about in the forums. This includes the prices of items and the rate of the Papel rares. I was never lucky with the latter, and since the prior was only a few items I figured I could deal. However, the fact that the Pangya PSP items and outfits were added to the shop as Point Items would generally be a good thing, right? No! Mostly due to the fact every outfit is roughly $15 which is in an insane price for a single outfit. This is also confusing considering my last post on the PSP game, which speculates that Download Vouchers for the outfits will come with the game. I can still easily be wrong on this, but what if these do come with the game and those who buy the PSP outfits cannot get them from the Download Voucher afterward? We’re also limited on time to buy the Pangya PSP outfits which will be out of the store on the 8th. There’s also two Pangya PSP Clubset and two special Phoenixes, but I don’t feel they’re worth mentioning in comparison to everything else.
I felt the updates and the problems on hacking have been going relatively well, but with the US servers being a whipping boy to get money out of our pockets I don’t really see the point. I’m so angry with this that I haven’t even said another good point of this update, which involves another event. It’s a point like event that gives us the Papel Ramen Cup caddie; however, the chance to do so is only for 300 people and only for 30 days while in Japan when this caddie was released it was indefinitely that those who won it could keep it. It sounds like another way to screw the US audience over.
I’m also extremely upset that the server’s are absolutely full every time I log on. Pangya is a small based game as is in the US, but there is no reason I should have to wait anywhere from five minutes to an hour to actually play. I honestly don’t care that it’s still Open Beta because there’s no reason for it. Give us our shops, give us our servers, give us our Papel rates, and give us fair prices.
Perhaps I’m being bitter, but I think those of us who got use to OGPlanet are spectacle. I had a lot of hope NtreevUSA would do well, but the more time goes on the more it just feels like the same story… just a little disguised behind GMs that talk more. I’m generally not this biased, but there’s no reason we should be screwed over price wise. Keep your ridiculous rates for the Papel rares, and price things reasonably or you’re going to lose a lot of business fast. I’m sorry if my report is rather lackluster in comparison to usual, but I would prefer to address this issues that just see these matters get tossed around with fancy words.

My brother has went through over 500 Papel coupons, and not once we saw a rare bag show up… im getting reminded of ecards… but even I could get lucky enough after 500 cards (lol) ouchie

The US server is a complete mess. I actully feel emberised to be playing on it. I wish i could play on a differnt server. The prices for simple items are completly insane and im not planing to buy an item for a long time and i could buy REALL
cloths for $15. my one and only qestion is what where they thinking?!?!

The black papel shop is broken. Seriously broken and admins refuse to “fix” it claiming its working as is. I’m just hoping when we switch to the s4 client this issue will just fix itself. For now I’m not wasting anymore money on it.

Nevermind the fact that the servers no longer kick you off for no reason anymore. That isn’t worth mentioning.
Also, I’ve logged on dozens of times at various hours of the day, and there has never been a time when all of the servers are anywhere near full. I don’t know what game you’re playing.

It was a glitch when there was only two servers open. When Free 1 was full, it would say the server was full. They’ve added Titan Boo and the server has freed up.

Yeah this is kind of a rip off, not to mention most of the Fantasy Golf outfits look like total crap. When i heard about the update i was freakin thrilled to hear i can get Kaz’s outfit but then i saw that it looked like they got lazy. It looks like a cheap black towel around his next instead of the tattered scarf it should. And Hana’s dress is just pitiful. If they don’t fix this they probably wont get any of my money.
Oh and apparently a lot of people are having trouble with the point event (including me). There’s this bug where you put in 1500 points for the Ramen Caddie and it says “Product Already Received” but it wont show up. Me and a few others posted a Support 1:1 report but they haven’t gotten back yet. So that really pisses me off.
I’m gonna wait till i buy Pangya PSP before i even consider buying the clothes. The only thing i bought so far are the clubs with the axes, mostly because they are gruesome and my pink twin feathers are boring me. If they’re nice (no) they ‘Will’ have vouchers so i can get this stuff for free, since it’s not worth it.
P.S. and yes StarDrop, i did buy real clothes for under 15$

Yeah, I was one of the unfortunate people who played 10 hours non-stopped only to find out that there was a bug that did not let me redeem my Ramen Caddie T.T … Yup going to buy the PSP version and find out what the voucher unlocks hehe…

Man, my local GameStop is still giving me the run-around on Pangya PSP. Why the fuck can’t I reserve it? IT’S COMING OUT IN LESS THAN A WEEK, YOU CHUCKLEFUCKS!
And if they don’t give the download vouchers, I’ll just put up with those free offers that they have on the points recharge page for a while. Plus I have money on GamingLagoon that I could dump onto PayPal and then use for points, too.
Still, the whole situation is getting on my last nerve.
