So, Albatross 18 gave their ill-fated announcement on closing down the server. I’d like to note that they really tried to plug their other games, sadly I’ve never enjoyed any of their other games so my account on OGPlanet is bound to rot. Sure, I’m a bit sad that this day has finally come, but it’s been speculated everywhere. I’m still as confident as I previously was considering the GM iCon stated that they were discussing the future of our accounts with Ntreev. While there is no official announce as to what’s happened, I still stick with everything I stated in my previous entry. I’m pretty confident, but I know there’s so many people with doubts. I guess I would rather be positive then drown in all the negativity there is.
A majority of users are merely moving to new servers anyway. Despite the optimistic attitude though, I feel that there is a solid theory of NtreevUSA taking over the game. From what I know Ntreev is also cutting their ties with Hanbisoft who publishes their Korean version of the game. They are going to transfer the accounts without problem. If this is the case, then why can’t that happen here? I do very much believe all that I’ve previously said and in the next six months I expect a new launch of PangyaUSA. If not, then I was wrong, but until then I’ll still believe.
For everyone else, enjoy the Korean or the Europe servers. I don’t think I’ll be as ecstatic to join you as I never played the other servers enough to care about how far I got. Instead I will wait or perhaps to fill the void finally buy that PSP I wanted with Pangya Portable as the only game I’ll ever need~

Oh Kana, I wish I had your optimism. I do hope Ntreev does pick up A18, along with the database, but I can’t help but feel terribly sad at this point. I love this game, more than I’ve loved any other game. Hopefully we’ll see each other on the greens with Ntreev.

Ntreev wouldn’t let a good game of theirs die in the midst of OGP’s phailure would they? i sure as hell hope not. I have a good feeling about it actually. And even if they don’t pick it up. I’ve got a wii, psp, and Grand Chase. I think (after weeks of crying in a corner whispering to myself “pangyaUS is real, pangyaUS is real”) i might get over the abandonment of one of my favorite mmo’s. I’ve still got City of Heroes i play, and i might even try GOA for the first time. Considering they don’t mind me coming over
(the wii and psp come into play because of Super Swing golf games and Pangya Portable)
