Just a quickie update on Japan servers really since they’ve become untouchable by anyone outside of their side of the Earth. Kaz and Lucia came out with some pretty designed kimonos, SLGaming has a far better picture of them then I can provide. They also released the next part of the Snow Flake Set. Besides that I don’t know many other details besides the fact I do want that Lucia kimono.

The other news is that officially Europe has moved to Season 3 Open Beta. Gradually they will be fixing bugs to match up to other servers. So far there’s not too much to complain about, but I’ve seem quite a few people jump ship to those servers. I think you guys are being a bit too hasty with this because the Europe servers are small and clean. In fact it’s a very nice place to play, and now that they’re going to be at Season 3 I’m sure a lot of you are wondering what’s there to miss. Well, at the moment from what I know Mr. eCard cannot exist in this server. There is a law in France that forbids minors to gamble, and thus that is what the eCard system is classified. It seems the eCards in Brie’s Cauldron will exist until they find an alternative. This is about all I know on this, and I thought that others should be aware of it.

The next thing I want to touch up on is all the people abandoning Albatross 18 because they missed one update. I’ll be frank, more than likely OGPlanet will give up Albatross 18 eventually. In fact, Sandgolem, Kibs, and myself talked about this and gave our own theories back in August of last year on our podcast. Many of my thoughts on the subject are already posted there. I don’t want to spread rumors, all of this is merely a theory. I think if anything, if Albatross 18 closed then NtreevUSA would be all over that. I don’t think anyone should really be worried that the US server is going to die in some form or manner. I love a lot of the guys at OGPlanet, but perhaps a move would do Albatross 18 some good.

Now before freaking out about the fact we might not get our accounts, remember that Ntreev is generally a smart business model. I highly doubt that they’ll simply start over our servers. In fact, I believe if it came down to it they’d pay OGPlanet or sue them for their database. The money and customer loss from losing the database completely would be far too damaging. There is also a lot of alternatives that come with getting our stuff back. Idealistically this includes giving NtreevUSA a screenshot, video, or some other form of evidence to show what we’ve previously owned. Their takeover of other games has been seamless, and I strongly think all this panic that’s appeared due to one OGPlanet notice should really calm itself. Until OGPlanet says in black and white that they are closing down Albatross 18 should you begin to worry. At that point take a screenshot or video of everything in your inventory… you know, just in case. I believe the English servers of Albatross 18 will not simply die.

In a much more lighter side of the news, for those that are a fan of my YouTube videos I’ve currently joined a promotional project. You can check out an example of what I’m talking about here. It’s basically anime news on the weekdays, much like tuning into your favorite news channel on TV. It’s in promotion for 9.18 The Fan, the website for that will be released on the weekend.

Anyway Albatross18 server priority for me, and I very much hope that everything will be good or even better than now.
    It’s about time…

Alba18 will not die maybe, but they NEED to do something about cheaters and the psq economy asap. I posted a solution about it on OGP Forum… what did they do? They locked the thread… gg OGP. (tense)

Possibly the only thing Ntreev does not have over OGP is a responsive help desk. Everything else though is pretty good. Too bad they too quickly made Trickster crap when they should have slowed its eventual destruction.

Also their GMs can be worse than OGP GMs at times.

The notice about no update is really nothing new to me. This is about the second or third time I have seen them announce no update since the beginning of the server. It’s just really bad timing for them to say that with all the theories floating about.

Lacechan, I totally agree the timing is bad. Also, many people just panicked. I can say truthfully I was a little surprised and amazed by it.

I play Trickster, I’ve never personally tried Grand Chaser. What I’ve always liked about Trickster since I play it on and of, is no matter what I have a gift from Ntreev somehow. I also always see them doing contests of sorts when I check in. It’s the fact they’re active I suppose that shines them in a better light for me. I’ve personally never submitted to their help desk, so I wouldn’t know. Perhaps they might have a better time dealing with Pangya though since they’re directly connected to the company who owns it.

Why not? It would be best if the official NTREEV hold their own game directly.
