As many of you know by the comments in my last entry as well as the latest posts on Kawaii Janakya Damenano! and SLGaming, Japanese servers have blocked all proxies. This is a drastic measure that is obviously upsetting a good section of the community. It seems this move was made due to the influx of Taiwanese players, either way it’s kind of sad that many players can’t be apart of the game anymore. Even worse those who use to live in Japan, and are out of the Japan area for whatever reason yet they can’t play. There’s a bit of worry and fuss considering that this could move to other popular serves like the Korean server; however, it’s a bit too early to think this might happen. All I have to say, is when you’re in a different server: Shut up! Don’t talk, you don’t know the language, so shush!

In other news, the next update here in Albatross 18 is for the fix of those stupid gift boxes that wouldn’t open. So, for a full two weeks we’ll have double pang and double EXP. I gotta admit that’s a good way to say I’m sorry. Other than that we’ll be getting new outfits for Arin, Kaz, and Max along with some Kooh accessories. I’ve never been impressed with these clothes, so maybe someone else will love them.

I’d really prefer this than get bananas from the gift boxes xD

  2. Joriksun Says:

This like the beginning of the end.

What about A18 update. I’m also don’t need any experience or pangs. The game has become very boring. Apologies are not accepted.

  3. Kanashimi Says:

I guess I’m excited since this will help me get to Semi-Prop finally. I’m so lazy. xP

  4. cyruz Says:

Oh cool, guess I’ll play a little bit today.

  5. Leelee Says:

I only like Kooh’s little new ribbons, when I saw them on Pangya KR I wanted them so much to come here on A18 XD.
But there’s no new eCard rare ?

  6. Kanashimi Says:

Nope, no eCard rare this time. Maybe next time we’ll get a good one, since a lot of up-coming ones are rather cute.

Really annoyed that the “end” came so quickly. If Pangya TW hadn’t closed this would never have happened….

  8. Abi-kun Says:

As far as I remember it was the Brazilians that started it (sorry berz but it’s true). The flood of Brazilian players on Pangya JP induced by closing of Pangya BR force (?) Gamepot to set IP ban in teh first place. Taiwanese players only finished the job forcing Gamepot to another drastic measure. As for not knowing the language, my written Japanese is nonexistent and while playing on Pangya JP I used a mix of English and some lame Japanese Romanji but I never got reported or anything. Why ? Probably cause even if I didn’t know the language I always tried to be respectful, didn’t spam and when it was needed I used the universal language of any online game - emoticons. Some Japanese players just kept quiet, some still used Kana/kanji and didn’t bother of some crazy gaijin playing with them and finally some of them spoke to me in English or Japanese Romanji and we all coexisted in peace. Its not always about language but IT IS always about good manners and respect. I guess Most of Brazilians and taiwanese players forgot about them and we all ended up in a same bag with atag “Ruda gaijins - stay away from us”…

  9. Hinano Says:

haha I spoke in Japanese with them to begin with, so at least I blended in :P

  10. Bosk Says:

I’ve give up JP server after the 1st IP ban, but I was only rookie there.

For the 2x xp/pang on A18, I hope to gain those xp point to reach SemiPro… good way to say “Sorry dudes” :)
