It should be noted the following article might have cursing or be more of a rant than an update, and should be avoided at work or if you’re maturity level is below that of a peanut. Update: In support of changing the system I have been very vocal in the forums, and have recently posted the following: http://forum.ntreev.net/pangya/forums/p/3656/48824.aspx#48824 Please make sure to read, and if you feel the same, support this article we worked so hard on. US Update |

A new update has finally come from the US server, but in all honesty it leaves me baffled in many ways. In many ways the update itself seems like a huge plus considering they finally added Tiki Scrolls, which allow people to leave tournaments early if they finish before the time limit. In turn, the ability to join a tournament that has already started has also been added since the two features compliment each other. However I think the biggest kick to the shins is the Pangya PSP outfits. Instead of being a monstrous occasion it feels like an insult! Read the rest of this entry »

US Update |

Korea has a new update involving the maid outfits previously released in the Japanese server. Curiously, the Japanese server received only a few of the outfits in their version of the eCard system while in Korea they received all of the outfits of this set. However, the male characters are the only ones available by eCard while all the female outfits can be bought with Cookies in the shop. It’s a little curious yet I suspect this is in an effort to catch up with Japan considering they’ve gotten a little farther ahead. There is also three new pang outfits for Lucia, Kaz, and Kooh. The Kooh outfit we’ve seen before from the Season 4 Trailer, but the others seem fairly new. Pictures after the jump! Read the rest of this entry »

Korean Update |

A recent update on the Japanese Pangya site leads us to a new page that has Crypton slapped together with Pangya once more. The page itself features the newest character released for Vocaloid 2 on January 30th, 2009, and Yu Asakwawa was the woman who provided vocal samples for Megurine Luka. The song that plays in the background of the page is called Nowhere, which has a spiffy remix. I remember this song fondly as we use to edit it into the Into The Rough podcasts quite a lot. It’s a little difficult to tell which character they will be applying this set to, but it appears to be either Lucia or Arin at this point though I can only guess. Whether they bring back the other Vocaloid costumes will probably have to remain unknown until the update (or until someone who can read Japanese can spread the word). Read the rest of this entry »

Japanese Update |

I have been meaning to post this for the past week, but I’ve suffered computer troubles with my internet provider. Due to this it has been difficult to do so, and update the site as I normally should. Though you will see more updates soon, and I apologize for the slow two weeks. On the plus side, the news I do have is rather hefty about the goodies the US customers might receive when they pick up Pangya PSP. Read the rest of this entry »

I spotted the above picture on the Japanese homepage a few moments ago. Since I can’t make heads or tails of Japanese writing, I’m aware that there is an event going on here. It appears, though I could be wrong, you’re collecting Gold and Silver medals for prizes. Though the picture listed above makes me believe that they’ll release Cecilia’s motion item next. I recall Korea releasing the item 10/14/08, and usually Japan is always right behind them… hrmmm. Either way the image is a cut out mimic of the original posted on the Korea notice boards in game.
